How to prepare for your New Client Consultation:
Thank you for booking your first appointment with La Jolla Acne Specialists. To best prepare for your visit, we ask that you follow these simple steps and reminders:
- All topical prescription medications (Retin A and derivatives, Antibiotics, Differin, Epiduo, Tretinion, etc) need to be stopped 7-14 days prior to your New Client Consultation.
- Please bring photos of your current hair/makeup/shave products. Be certain to include the ingredient deck. If they are not listed on the products themselves, find them online and take screenshots.
- Be prepared to discuss diet, exercise, past acne treatment & other histories, so Christina can best help you.
- Parking is free but street only; please allow adequate time to find parking.

FIRST-TIME CLIENTS: Please bring photos of your current hair, makeup, laundry, shower & shave products along with photos of the ingredients. LJAS will conduct an in-depth analysis of your skin, products, hormones, diet & lifestyle to help you understand the impact these factors have on your skin and will then create an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your clearest skin possible! Light extractions and a corrective peel are often done. **Credit card is required to book **

LJAS's Acne Treatment, which includes a peel or enzyme,extractions and either Celluma or Illuminate LED. LED light therapy helps to kill acne causing bacteria, reduce inflammation and provide a general rejuvenation of the skin. The combination of blue, red and infrared lights in our FDA cleared Celluma panel will penetrate the skin to help you heal and clear faster, or opt for the 2x as strong Illuminate LED for similiar results in half the time.
