At La Jolla Acne Specialists, our sole focus is retention hyperkeratosis, the genetic disease commonly referred to as Acne. Our core mission is to provide a personalized plan to help those afflicted with this skin condition reach a newfound skin clarity, using proven ingredients and protocols.
Experience and Professionalism
Christina, owner/provider at La Jolla Acne Specialists, has been a licensed Esthetician and certified Acne Specialist since 2011. During this time she has treated many skin conditions and issues, ranging from acne (her favorite, and as of the last several years, exclusive focus) to anti-aging, skin sensitivities, sun damage and rosacea, to name a few.
Having dealt with acne herself and experiencing how debilitating it can be, she decided to make that her passion and is well-versed in the many different causes of acne formation. She possesses extensive knowledge of which comedogenic ingredients should be avoided, how diet plays a role in the clarity of our skin, what supplements assist in clearing acne and which ones contribute, as well as, creating personalized home and clinic regimens using the most effective ingredients and protocols known to acne sufferers! LJAS will conduct an in-depth discussion of your skin, products, hormones, diet & lifestyle to help you understand the impact these factors have on your skin and will then create an individualized treatment plan to help you achieve your clearest skin possible!
For New clients, we ask that you bring a list of the skincare/bath/beauty products you currently use either by taking pictures of the full ingredient lists or by printing them off the internet as this will help you have the most effective and impactful visit.
